There was once a time when torch meant a massive, flaming plank of wood and by flaming, we don’t mean to swear. Thank the stars, torches have moved on. Imagine trying to find your way back to your tent at a festival, simultaneously burning the whole campsite to the ground in your wake.Jump forward a couple of years - stay with us - and torches were chunky battery powered affairs that took those D cell batteries that you can use as ballast for a hot air balloon. They did make useful weapons in a fist fight, mind, but that’s another story.
