Hoffa Urges Congress to Pass Stimulus That Helps Unemployed, Adds Jobs | Market Digest: "Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa said Congress must extend unemployment insurance, especially as data released today shows September was the ninth consecutive month in which jobs were lost.
The Department of Labor reported on Friday that 159,000 jobs were lost in September, the most in five years.
Hoffa said it’s urgent that the House and Senate act to help unemployed workers before they break for the year."
